As a followup to the API changes of the clickmenu within #62709 this change removes any leftovers of the internals of the clickmenu using e.g. non-sprite icons, and removing all non-AJAX-functionality which was used via alt_clickmenu.php without &ajax=1 (for the very old topbar in pre-4.2). Additionally, it deprecates alt_clickmenu.php, which was already announced in #62709. The prehistoric user UC option "noMenuMode" was also removed completely. A final followup will bring a non-table output as well as cleaned up JS calls, and a JSON based data exchange. The backend controller has some leftover code. First, the main output is moved to a standalone fluid view. Additionally, the UserMenu.js is not needed anymore, as Bootstrap Dropdown is taking care of its logic. Some minor code logic cleanup is also added, as well as a @todo note. There are still some small places where sprite icons are not used yet. One is the link to the view page icon. The call within document template is only used twice in the core: 1. DocumentTemplate->getHeader() 2. ElementInformationController The patch replaces the hard-coded image tag with a sprite icon. As this function is hardly used, you need to know where to test: - Go to the Info module => PageTSconfig => ViewTSconfig fieldContent => Choose a page in the pagetree which is not the root page. On the bottom you see the TSconfig for each page, with the search icon and the new icon once the patch is applied. Due to several patches, jQuery is currently loaded twice in the backend.php script. Once via window.jQuery (default noConflict) and via TYPO3.jQuery. The core only uses window.jQuery in the module menu JS which is now changed to use TYPO3.jQuery. As for the current state, as long as jQuery is not globally available with window.$ due to the conflict with Prototype, the TYPO3.jQuery is used throughout the core, and also in the module menu. The Core always tries to use the first template according to their sorting on a page. This totally ignores the root-flag of a template. With the cleanup for BackendUtility the possible return value of getProcessedValue() changed. As multiple functions depend on the fact that the result could be NULL this breaks existing functionality. Make default return value NULL instead of an empty string. TCA fields with type "check" and items are handled as binary fields which is wrong. Fields are used e.g. for the field "hidden" of pages to improve the output. With toolbar refactoring, OpendocsController was renamed to OpendocsToolbarItem and a class alias was introduced to cope with core internal usages of the old class names. This is cleaned up with this patch. The class was still referenced in alt_doc_nodoc.php entry point through EditDocumentController. This ancient code is obsolete since around 4.3 but was never removed. The patch now removes this entry point and redirects to dummy.php in EditDocumentController just in case this code snippet is still triggered somehow - which is unlikely, but can not be overseen currently. Furthermore, the alias OpendocsController is removed: The new class implements a different interface now, so this would break anyway - which is also unlikely to be used by third party code. The cropHTML method needs to account for html tags - therefore it must match them. The regex used for matching tags misses html tags with attributes that contain dashes. (\w matches "any 'word' character", being "[…] any letter or digit or the underscore character […]") [1]. The current W3C html draft sets even less constraints on what makes an attribute name [2], but including dashes looks like the most urgent need.
